lyrics

There’s a kind of hush that I hate,
it’s when the Sunday morning dust has settled on the grate. Some words were spoken, they’re etched upon my brain, I can’t remember who said what or who’s to blame

I try to change the subject, but my conversation fails. Its such a wasted effort ,when you can sulk for Wales

The house still trembles from the volume that we raised. Even our photographs look a little dazed. I try to raise your spirts, well, it couldn’t do no harm. Cos I’d rather a raging storm than all this calm

I dance around with stories and entertaining tales. It’s such a wasted effort cos you can sulk for Wales

Oh we puzzle God’s creation in the making of females. While you just sit around watching our heads chasing our tails. You put a needle in the haystack and now you’re handing out the bales. We never stood a chance, when you can sulk for Wales

Oh I say that I am sorry and I acted like a kid
but the truth is I can’t remember exactly what I did , but I’d do anything for you, walk through broken glass and nails . And at the end of the day, you still can sulk for Wales
